Business etiquette in the UAE
When you first come to a meeting with Emirati people you will notice that all of them stand to greet you and shake hand, and when it comes to a women you have to wait until she unless they extend their hand first also for some men they don’t shake hand with women.
If you are sitting and someone enter the room weather in a meeting room or in any social meeting don’t shake hand while you are sitting you have to stand to shake hand otherwise it will consider as a rude behavioral.
Don’t cross leg when you are sitting in a meeting or any other business or with friend.
When coffee come take it from your right hand and when you finish you have shake the small cup of coffee just to tell the coffee man that you finish, and also eating food with your right hand.
